The Amazing Destination aims to provide transparent and fair cancellation and refund guidelines for all travel bookings.

By booking any tour or travel service with us, you agree to the following Refund & Cancellation Policy.


1. Cancellation Request

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email or WhatsApp to The Amazing Destination.

The cancellation will be effective from the date and time the written request is received by our team.


2. Cancellation Charges

Cancellation charges will be applicable as follows:

  • 45 days or more before departure: 30% of total package cost
  • 15 to 44 days before departure: 75% of total package cost
  • 8 to 14 days before departure: 90% of total package cost
  • 7 days or less / No Show: 100% non-refundable

3. Peak Season Bookings

Bookings made for peak travel periods such as:

  • Christmas and New Year
  • Special pilgrimage seasons (Char Dham peak period)
  • Festival or high-demand travel dates

are strictly non-refundable once confirmed.


4. Non-Refundable Services

Certain services are non-refundable in all cases, including:

  • Wildlife safari bookings
  • Helicopter tickets (subject to operator policy)
  • Train or flight tickets (as per airline/railway rules)
  • Permits and government-authorized fees

5. Mid-Tour Cancellation

If a tour is cancelled or interrupted after commencement:

  • Refunds, if any, will depend on recoveries from hotels, transporters, and other service providers
  • No refund will be provided for unused services such as hotel stays, meals, transport, or sightseeing

6. Force Majeure Impact

No refunds will be provided for cancellations or service disruptions caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters, landslides, or extreme weather conditions
  • Roadblocks or route closures
  • Government restrictions or permits
  • Flight, helicopter, or transport cancellations
  • Political unrest or strikes

7. Refund Processing

  • Eligible refunds (if applicable) will be processed after deduction of cancellation charges
  • Refunds will be made using the original payment method
  • Processing time may vary depending on banks or service providers

8. Company Role

The Amazing Destination acts as a travel facilitator and coordinates with third-party service providers such as hotels, transport operators, and airlines. Refunds are subject to their respective policies.
