Itinerary

  • Your wonderful expedition to Amritsar will start with your arrival at Amritsar railway station/airport, whichever of your choice.
  • At the station/airport, our representative will be waiting to escort you to a pre-booked hotel.
  • After getting freshened up, be ready to go on an Amritsar sightseeing tour. On the tour, visit the famous five sacred Sarovar (ponds).
  • The first stop on this day sightseeing is Sri Harmandir Sahib, also known as Golden Temple. It is one of the highly revered Sikh shrines in Punjab. The gurdwara includes a sacred pond, known as Sarovar.
  • Followed by this, visit Gurdwara Santokshar Sahib which houses one of the five historical Sarovar – Santokshar Sarovar.
  • Thereafter, visit Gurdwara Ramsar where you will be also visiting the Ramsar Sarovar – the smallest of all five ponds. Built in the year 1885, the gurudwara marks the place where the fifth Sikh Guru – Guru Arjan Dev wrote Guru Granth Sahib – the sacred scripture.
  • Thereafter, visit the Gurdwara Shri Mata Kaulsar Sahib which houses Kaulsar Sarovar. Dedicated to Mata Kaulan Ji, the gurdwara is another significant Sikh sacred site in Amritsar.
  • From there, you will be taken to Gurdwara Bibeksar Sahib where you will the fifth pond, Bibeksar Sarovar. Built in the year 1628 by the sixth Sikh Guru – Hargobind Sahib, the Sarovar is one of the sacred sites in the region.
  • In the evening, you will be transferred back to the same hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

  • In the morning, you will be served with a delectable breakfast.
  • Post breakfast, be ready with your backpacks as you will be transferred to the airport/railway statin.
  • Upon arrival at station/airport, board your train/flight back home.
