What's Included
Sacred Sites
Badrinath Temple is the most prominent among the Panch Badri temples and one of the Char Dham pilgrimage sites of India. Located at an altitude of approximately 3,133 meters on the banks of the Alaknanda River, the temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu in the form of Badrinarayan.
Situated at Pandukeshwar between Joshimath and Badrinath, Yog Dhyan Badri is believed to be the meditation site of King Pandu, father of the Pandavas. The temple represents Lord Vishnu in a meditative posture.
Bhavishya Badri is located near the village of Subhain in the Joshimath region. According to ancient beliefs, when Badrinath becomes inaccessible in the future, worship of Lord Vishnu will continue at Bhavishya Badri.
Located in Animath near Joshimath, Vriddha Badri represents the ancient or elderly form of Lord Vishnu. It is believed that sage Narada worshipped Lord Vishnu at this sacred site.
Adi Badri consists of a group of ancient temples near Karnaprayag. These temples are believed to have been established by Adi Shankaracharya to promote the worship of Lord Vishnu in the Himalayan region.
Day by Day Plan
A sacred 8-day pilgrimage through the Himalayan valleys visiting the five revered Panch Badri temples.
Morning departure from Delhi towards Haridwar by road. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel. In the evening, visit Har Ki Pauri and witness the sacred Ganga Aarti on the banks of River Ganga.
After breakfast, drive through scenic Himalayan roads towards Rudraprayag, the holy confluence of the Alaknanda and Mandakini rivers.
Morning drive towards Badrinath via Joshimath. Upon arrival, visit the sacred Badrinath Temple and attend the evening aarti.
Morning darshan at Badrinath Temple. Later drive to Pandukeshwar and visit Yog Dhyan Badri Temple. Continue the journey towards Joshimath.
Drive from Joshimath to Saldhar and begin the scenic trek to Bhavishya Badri Temple. After darshan, trek back to Saldhar and return to Joshimath.
Visit Vriddha Badri Temple in Animath followed by a drive to Adi Badri Temple complex near Karnaprayag. Later continue the journey towards Rudraprayag.
After breakfast, drive back towards Haridwar. The evening is free for leisure or local temple visits.
Morning departure from Haridwar to Delhi. Upon arrival, transfer to airport, railway station, or residence.
